 Dear reader, as you may or may not be aware, I have this strange fascination with photographing the impromptu artwork that often decorates NYC club bathrooms. Here we see the interior of The Sidewalk Cafe's men's room, in which we find...no art, none whatsoever! How disappointing. Nothing but an endless expanse of chrome -- much like the interior of some musical spaceship. On the other hand, this club's bathroom is ACTUALLY CLEAN, which was a refreshingly new experience for me. Note that the photograph I have taken for you here is of the chrome paper towel dispenser...it's the best photograph I could get in the bathroom at the time, as the drunk guy pissing right next to me declined to have his portrait recorded for posterity. Can you believe that?!? |
